Plane Shapes

A plane shape is a flat shape.
Examples include:

Parallel Lines

Parallel lines are lines that remain the same distance apart and never meet.

Perpendicular Lines

Perpendicular lines meet at a right angle.

Types of Triangles

Equilateral Triangle

An equilateral triangle has three equal sides.

Isosceles Triangle

An isosceles triangle has two equal sides.

Scalene Triangle

A scalene triangle has no equal sides.

Right-Angled Triangle

A right-angled triangle has one angle of 90°.

Quadrilaterals

A quadrilateral is a shape with four sides.

  • Rectangle
  • Parallelogram
  • Trapezium
