Meaning of Oral Comprehension

Oral comprehension means listening carefully to something spoken and showing that you understand it.

The teacher may read a story while pupils listen and answer questions.

Short Story: The Helpful Girl

Amina was going home from school when she saw an old woman carrying a heavy basket. The woman looked tired. Amina offered to help her carry the basket. The old woman thanked Amina and smiled.
