Sources of Protein

Protein foods may come from:

  1. Plants.
  2. Animals.

Plant Sources of Protein

These are protein foods obtained from plants. Examples are: 🫘 Beans 🥜 Groundnuts 🌱 Soya beans 🌰 Peas

Animal Sources of Protein

These are protein foods obtained from animals. Examples are: 🐟 Fish 🥩 Meat 🥚 Eggs 🥛 Milk

Classification

Plant Protein Animal Protein
Beans Fish
Groundnuts Meat
Soya beans Eggs
Peas Milk

Both plant and animal proteins help our bodies to grow.
