E: CONTENT

Preventing Harmful Substances from Entering the Body

We can protect ourselves by making safe choices.

1. Avoid Spoiled Food

Do not eat food that:

  • smells bad,
  • looks rotten,
  • has mould,
  • has gone bad.

2. Check Expiry Dates

Expired foods and medicines should not be used.

3. Drink Clean Water

Drink water from safe and clean sources. 💧✅

4. Eat Properly Cooked Food

Food should be properly cooked before eating.

5. Wash Fruits

Fruits should be washed with clean water before eating. 🍎💧

6. Avoid Unknown Liquids and Chemicals

Never taste liquids if you do not know what they are.

7. Take Medicines Safely

Take medicine only when guided by a responsible adult or health professional.

8. Report Unsafe Substances

Tell a parent, teacher or another responsible adult when you see suspicious substances.
