Description of an Earthworm
An earthworm has a:
- long body
- soft body
- narrow shape
- body made up of many small segments
It has no legs.
Movement
An earthworm moves by stretching and shortening its body.
Drawing an Earthworm
To draw an earthworm:
- Draw a long curved shape.
- Add small lines to show body segments.
- Show the front and rear ends.
- Colour lightly where necessary.
Habitat
Earthworms may be found in:
- moist soil
- gardens
- farms
- places under dead leaves
Importance
