Three-Letter Words
Three-letter words are words made up of three letters.
Examples:
🐱 c + a + t = cat
🐶 d + o + g = dog
👨 m + a + n = man
🪭 f + a + n = fan
🧢 c + a + p = cap
🧺 m + a + t = mat
The teacher says each sound slowly and joins them together.
Simple Vowel Sounds
The vowels are:
a, e, i, o, u
Examples:
- a in cat
- e in hen
- i in pin
- o in dog
- u in sun
Picture Reading
Look at the pictures and say the words:
🐱 cat
🐶 dog
🧢 cap
☀️ sun
🪭 fan
Simple Greetings
We also use simple greetings every day.
- Good morning.
- Good afternoon.
- Good evening.
- Goodbye.
