Revision of Drugs

A drug is a substance that may be used to treat illness or affect how the body functions. Medicines should be used correctly.

Revision of Drug Education

Drug education teaches people about:

  • dangers of misuse;
  • effects of harmful substances;
  • prevention of drug abuse.

Revision of Drug Abuse

Drug abuse means using drugs or substances wrongly, excessively or without proper guidance.

Causes of Drug Abuse

They may include:

  1. Peer pressure.
  2. Curiosity.
  3. Bad company.
  4. Lack of guidance.
  5. Stress.
  6. Desire to imitate others.

Effects of Drug Abuse

Drug abuse may cause:

  • poor health;
  • poor school performance;

Prevention of Drug Abuse
