We study Civic Education because it helps us to understand how to live responsibly in society.

It helps citizens understand:

  • The rights of other people.

Civic Education Promotes Good Behaviour

It teaches values such as:

  1. Honesty.
  2. Respect.
  3. Responsibility.
  4. Cooperation.
  5. Discipline.

Civic Education Promotes Peace

People who understand their duties and respect others are more likely to solve problems peacefully.

Civic Education Teaches Respect for Laws

It teaches citizens to:

  • Avoid criminal behaviour.

Civic Education Promotes National Unity
