Why We Should Obey Traffic Regulations

Traffic regulations are made to protect all road users. Everyone should obey them.

Obeying traffic rules helps to prevent:

  • injuries.
  • loss of lives.
  • damage to property.

Protection of Lives and Property

When drivers and pedestrians obey traffic regulations, lives and property are protected.

Reduction of Traffic Congestion

Traffic regulations help vehicles move in an orderly manner. This reduces unnecessary traffic jams.

Maintenance of Order

Obeying road rules prevents confusion. Traffic lights, signs and road markings tell road users what to do.

Safe Use of Pedestrian Crossings
