Colours Around Us
Colours make objects easy to identify and make our environment attractive. Examples include:
- Red.
- Blue.
- Yellow.
- Green.
- Orange.
- Purple.
Primary Colours
Primary colours are colours that cannot be produced by mixing other colours. The three primary colours are:
- Red.
- Blue.
- Yellow.
Secondary Colours
Secondary colours are produced by mixing two primary colours. Examples: 🔴 Red + 🟡 Yellow = 🟠 Orange 🟡 Yellow + 🔵 Blue = 🟢 Green 🔴 Red + 🔵 Blue = 🟣 Purple
Colours of the Rainbow
The rainbow has seven main colours:
- Red.
- Orange.
- Yellow.
- Green.
- Blue.
- Indigo.
- Violet.
A common way to remember them is ROYGBIV. 🌈 Red – Orange – Yellow – Green – Blue – Indigo – Violet
