Meaning of Good Handwriting

Good handwriting is writing that is neat, clear and easy to read.

Correct Spacing

Words should not be too close together.

Correct:

Ada is a good pupil.

Incorrect:

National Values

Values are good qualities that help us behave well.

Examples include:

• loyalty
• respect

Honesty

Honesty means telling the truth and doing what is right.

Example:

Chidi found a pencil and gave it to the teacher.

Discipline

Discipline means obeying rules and behaving properly.

Example:

Bola comes to school early and follows classroom rules.

Courage

Courage means being brave when doing what is right.

Example:

Amina spoke the truth even when she was afraid.

Short Passage: The Good Pupil

Tunde is a good pupil. He comes to school early every day. He obeys his teachers and keeps the classroom clean. One day, he found some money on the floor and gave it to his teacher. His teacher praised him for being honest.
