Revision of Reading and Comprehension

Read the passage:

Chika has a small blue bag. She carries it to school every day. Yesterday, she put two books, a pencil and an orange inside the bag. Chika likes to keep her things neat and clean.

Questions:

1. What colour is Chika’s bag?
2. Where does she carry the bag?
3. Mention two things inside the bag.
4. What does Chika like to do?

Revision of Descriptive Words

Descriptive words tell us more about a person, place, animal or thing.

Examples:

• small bag
• blue bag
• beautiful flower
• tall boy
• clean classroom

Revision of Capital Letters and Punctuation

Capital letters are used:

• at the beginning of sentences
• for names of people
• for names of places

Examples:

• Ada lives in Lagos.
• Tunde is my friend.

Common punctuation marks include:

• Full stop (.)
• Comma (,)
• Question mark (?)
• Exclamation mark (!)

Revision of Present and Past Tense

Examples:

• I play football every day.
• I played football yesterday.

Revision of Reading Materials

Examples of reading materials are:

A dictionary helps us find the meaning and spelling of words.

Revision of Consonant Clusters

Good handwriting should be:

• written on the lines
