The Nigerian National Flag

The Nigerian National Flag is an important symbol of Nigeria. 🇳🇬 It has three vertical bands. The colours are:

Green – White – Green

Meaning of the Green Colour

The green colour represents Nigeria’s rich land, agriculture and natural wealth. 🌱 Green reminds us of farming and vegetation.

Meaning of the White Colour

The white colour represents peace and unity. 🕊️ White reminds us to live peacefully with one another.

Importance of the Nigerian Flag

The flag:

1. Represents Nigeria.
2. Helps people identify Nigeria.
3. Promotes unity.
4. Encourages patriotism.
5. Represents Nigeria at international events.

Places Where the Flag May Be Displayed

The Nigerian flag may be seen at:
