Meaning of Good Citizenship

Good citizenship means behaving as a responsible member of the country and community.

Qualities of a Good Citizen

A good citizen should be:

  1. Honest.
  2. Responsible.
  3. Respectful.
  4. Peaceful.
  5. Hardworking.
  6. Helpful.
  7. Law-abiding.

Meaning of Community Service

Community service means helping to improve the community without causing harm to others.

Examples of Community Service

Examples include: 🧹 keeping public places clean; 🌳 planting trees; 🤝 helping people in need; 🗑️ disposing of waste properly; 🏫 caring for school surroundings.

Caring for Public Property

Good citizens should protect:

  • roads;
  • schools;
  • hospitals;
  • parks;
  • water facilities;
  • public buildings.

Helping People in Need

We can help others by:

  • assisting elderly people;
  • sharing useful information;
  • helping younger children safely;
  • supporting community activities.

How Pupils Can Serve
