E: CONTENT

Revision of Measurement

Length tells how long or short an object is. Instruments:

  • Ruler.
  • Metre rule.
  • Measuring tape.

Units:

  • mm
  • cm
  • m

Mass tells how heavy or light an object is. Instruments:

  • Weighing balance.
  • Weighing scale.

Units:

  • g
  • kg

Time tells when something happens or how long it lasts. Instruments:

  • Clock.
  • Watch.

Units include:

  • Seconds.
  • Minutes.
  • Hours.

Revision of Light

Light helps us see. Natural sources include:

  • ☀️ Sun
  • ⭐ Stars
  • ⚡ Lightning

Artificial sources include:

  • 🔦 Torch
  • 💡 Bulb

Examples:

  • Hoe.
  • Cutlass.
  • Grinding stone.
  • Mortar and pestle.
  • Town crier.

Revision of Developed Technology

Examples:

  • Tractor.
  • Computer.
  • Mobile phone.
  • Aeroplane.
  • Washing machine.

Uses of Technology

Technology is used:

  1. At home.
  2. In schools.
  3. On farms.
  4. In hospitals.
  5. For communication.
  6. For transportation.
