Meaning of Good Leadership

Good leadership means guiding people in a fair, honest and responsible way. A good leader cares about the people.

Who Is a Follower?

A follower is a person who is guided or led by a leader. Examples of followers include:

• pupils following a teacher’s instructions;
• community members following good community rules.

Duties of Good Followers

Good followers should:

1. Obey lawful instructions.
2. Respect good leaders.
3. Follow rules.
4. Cooperate with others.
5. Support useful activities.
6. Speak respectfully.
7. Avoid causing trouble.

Qualities of Responsible Followers

A responsible follower should be:

• obedient;
• respectful;
• honest;
• cooperative;
• peaceful;
• hardworking.

Cooperation Between Leaders and Followers

Leaders and followers need one another. 🤝 Good leaders guide the people. 🤝 Good followers cooperate with good leaders.
