Revision of Civic Education
Civic Education teaches us how to become responsible citizens. It teaches us about:
- rights;
- duties;
- rules;
- respect;
- honesty;
- cooperation;
- citizenship.
Revision of Rights and Duties
A right is something we are allowed to enjoy. Examples:
- education;
- food;
- care;
- protection.
A duty is something we are expected to do. Examples:
- obeying parents;
- doing schoolwork;
- keeping the classroom clean.
Revision of Citizenship
A citizen is a person who belongs to a country. 🇳🇬 We belong to Nigeria. Our nationality is Nigerian.
Revision of Community
A community is a place where people live and work together. Community members include: 👩🏫 Teachers. 👨🌾 Farmers. 👩⚕️ Health workers. 👮 Security officers. 🛒 Traders.
Revision of Cooperation
Cooperation means working together. Cooperation promotes:
- peace;
- unity;
- friendship;
- development.
Revision of Honesty
An honest person:
- tells the truth;
- does not steal;
- does not cheat;
- returns things that belong to others.
Revision of Courtesy
Polite expressions include:
- Please.
- Thank you.

A good citizen:
