Meaning of Taste

Taste is the sense that helps us know the flavour of food and drinks.

The Tongue

The tongue is found inside the mouth.

It helps us to:

1. Taste food.
2. Speak clearly.
3. Move food around the mouth.

Types of Taste

Some common tastes are:

Sweet

Examples:

🍬 Sweets.

🍯 Honey.

🍌 Ripe banana.

Salty

Examples:

🧂 Salt.

Salted food.

Sour

Examples:

🍋 Lemon.

Lime.

Bitter

Examples:

Some medicines and some vegetables may taste bitter.
