  3. Mention the father, mother and children.
  4. State simple duties of members of a nuclear family.

E: CONTENT

Meaning of a Nuclear Family

A nuclear family is a family made up of: 👨 Father 👩 Mother 👦👧 Children A nuclear family may have one child or more than one child.

Members of a Nuclear Family

The members are:

  1. Father.
  2. Mother.
  3. Son or sons.
  4. Daughter or daughters.

Duties of Members

Parents:

  • care for the children;
  • provide food and shelter;
  • protect and guide the family.

Children:

  • obey their parents;
  • respect older people;
  • help with simple household work;
  • keep the home clean.
