E: CONTENT

Addition of Money

We add money when we want to know the total amount.
Example:
🍭 Sweet = ₦10
🍪 Biscuit = ₦20
Total:

₦10 + ₦20 = ₦30

More examples:

  • ₦5 + ₦5 = ₦10
  • ₦10 + ₦20 = ₦30
  • ₦20 + ₦30 = ₦50

Subtraction of Money

We subtract money when some money is spent or taken away.
Example:
Ada has ₦50.
She spends ₦20.

₦50 − ₦20 = ₦30

Ada has ₦30 left.

Finding Change

You have ₦100.
You buy a pencil for ₦60.
Change:

₦100 − ₦60 = ₦40

Your change is ₦40.
