TOPIC: RULES IN THE COMMUNITY AND PUBLIC PLACES

Meaning of Community Rules

Community rules are rules that guide people living in the same area.

Rules for Keeping the Environment Clean

We should: 🗑️ Put rubbish in a waste bin. 🧹 Keep our surroundings clean. 🚫 Do not throw dirt on the road.

Road Safety Rules

We should:

  1. Walk on the safe side of the road.
  2. Look carefully before crossing.
  3. Use a pedestrian crossing where available.
  4. Obey traffic signs.
  5. Avoid playing on the road.

Behaviour in Public Places

In markets, parks and buses, we should:

  • Behave calmly.
  • Avoid fighting.
  • Respect others.
  • Keep the place clean.

Caring for Public Property

Public property belongs to everyone. Examples include:

  • Roads.
  • Parks.
  • Schools.
  • Street lights.

We should not destroy them.
