The pupils have learnt that good citizens love their country, tolerate others and cooperate with people around them.

By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

  4. Identify the right to care and protection.
  5. State why the rights of others should be respected.

E: CONTENT

Meaning of Rights

A right is something a person should be allowed to have or enjoy. Children have rights.

Rights of a Child

Every child has the right to:

  1. Life.
  2. Food.
  3. Shelter.
  4. Education.
  5. Care.
  6. Protection.

Examples

🏫 Children have the right to education. 🍲 Children need food. 🏠 Children need a safe home. ❤️ Children need care and protection.

Respecting the Rights of Others

We should not stop others from enjoying their rights. We should treat others kindly and fairly.
