Roads Outside the School
There are many roads in our community.
People and vehicles use these roads to move from one place to another.
Wide and Narrow Roads
A wide road has plenty of space.
🚌 🚗 🚕 Many vehicles may use a wide road.
A narrow road has less space.
🚶 🚲 Fewer vehicles may pass through at the same time.
Tarred Road
A tarred road has a smooth, hard surface.
It is usually dark or black in colour.

Cars, buses and motorcycles can travel on tarred roads.
Untarred Road
An untarred road may be covered with:
- Sand
- Soil
- Gravel
- Stones
Untarred roads may become muddy during heavy rain.
Footpaths
A footpath is mainly used by people who are walking.

Roads help us to:
- Go to school.
