Foods From Plants

Many foods we eat come from plants.

Yam and Cassava

🍠 Yam comes from a yam plant. Cassava also comes from a crop plant.

Rice and Maize

🍚 Rice comes from the rice plant. 🌽 Maize comes from the maize plant.

Beans and Groundnuts

🫘 Beans come from bean plants. Groundnuts also come from plants.

Fruits

Examples include: 🍌 banana 🥭 mango 🍊 orange

Vegetables

Examples include: 🥬 leafy vegetables 🍅 tomato 🌶️ pepper
